Spineless Wonders – 1st August 2012

Good morning, folks!

A few days ago, I was reading a post by Ms Vanessa-Jane Chapman. It was all about her love of seagulls. We’re not fans over here at Spineless Wonders because we view seagulls as scary predators (well the boys do – Ms Katykins just thinks that they like to shite very accurately on unsuspecting victims!). Vanessa’s post was entertaining and contained some interesting, lesser known, facts about seagulls – although the info was somewhat unsettling to Cyril and Willy.

Today’s post is dedicated to Vanessa-Jane, we’d like her to know that we have a good sense of humour over here! 😉

Have a great day everyone!

Ms Katykins 🙂

Excellent. I sound like such a cheapskate but I don’t normally buy them because they are really expensive – like £3 a pack up here. But, last week they had them in Tesco for £2 so I was straight in there! A friend of mine likes to eat them with cinnamon sprinkled on them – slice the apple up first, obviously! Sounds tasty! 🙂

Oh the seagulls in Florida when I lived there would attack you for your french fries!

Lol – My mum has been retelling me the story of how her sister once bought herself a sneaky fish supper and as soon as she opened the bag, a seagull pinched her fish! So funny! 🙂

It’s difficult to enjoy oneself at a beach when you have to keep a look out for sea gull droppings. I have lived in Corpus Christi, TX and Santa Cruz, CA. The gulls in Santa Cruz were double the size of the Texas ones…Crazy ’bout your little friends.

They could take over the world one day, Cyranette – and that is a very scary thought!! The ones in Stornoway are huge too, I’m glad I won’t need to see lots of them everyday once I’m back home!

Thanks for the continued encouragement, Cyranette – much appreciated! 🙂

Don’t like them either especially when I was looking forward to my PBNJ at the beach and one took it right out of my hand.
