No gags or cheesy jokes here. We take this opportunity to tell you that on Saturday Ms Katykins completed the first stage of her Aspire Channel Swim Challenge. She made it to 22.5 miles in just 4 weeks. And she’s already started the return leg. This part is optional but she wanted an additional challenge for herself. We hope you’ll cheer her on!

We hope you’ve had a great day. Tune in tomorrow to see how Cyril and Willy are getting on with their healthy living!

Thanks, Claire! I’m pleased with my achievement. I think The Boys would end up as fish food…

I feel the same way – why do you think I’m doing this challenge in my local pool?

Congratulations! Silly me! You are still somewhat new to me, and I thought you were swimming, practicing, and preparing for a real swim across the Channel!
I’m so glad you are swimming the distance in your pool!

Oh no, I’m far too scared to get in the open water! The challenge sounds far less impressive when people realise it’s in the pool. That might be part of the reason why I challenged myself to the return journey.
Thanks, Maddie.

No. I am definitely impressed – even in the pool. This is some major dedication on your part. I’m actually glad you won’t be swimming the real channel.

You’re logged in and the link takes you to your own profile. Is there a profile number link or just /profile.php???
